Foundation Partners
Estate planning through your will, living trust, or insurance policy is a God-pleasing example of love for those who are important to you even after the Lord has taken you home. This is an easy way to make a gift without modifying your will. Cornerstone can help you place your gift into a charitable fund of your choosing, so that your wishes are continued to further the ministry, share the gospel message and leave a legacy that truly makes a difference.
Whether your wishes consist of bequests, wills, trusts, charitable gift annuities, life insurance, etc., Cornerstone can help you so that your wishes are in place:
- Bequest by will: Gifts or portion of your estate can be designated to Cornerstone Lutheran High School and, in some cases, receive a substantial reduction in federal gift and estate taxes.
- Charitable Remainder Trust: Cash, securities, or property can be placed in a trust that pays annual income to you (or another named beneficiary) for life. After the Lord takes you home, the remainder of the trust transfers to Cornerstone Lutheran High School. Income tax benefits are available the year you establish your trust.
- Charitable Lead Trust: Cash, securities, or property can be placed into a trust that pays a fixed amount to the Cornerstone Lutheran High School for the number of years you select. Once this period ends, the assets held by the trust are transferred to the beneficiaries you wish. In some cases, substantial reduction in federal gift and estate taxes are available.
- Retirement Funds, IRAs, and Life Insurance Policies: Cornerstone Lutheran High School can be made a full or partial beneficiary of your life insurance policy or retirement account. This is an easy way to make a legacy gift, to a charitable fund of your choosing, without modifying your will.

Concrete Partners
We thank the Lord for our Concrete Partners who have faithfully pledged their gifts weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly for life or until they notify us differently. These gifts are given to the operating fund, capital/debt reduction, or student assistance. Aggregate/Matching Gift Partners
Many companies and employers offer a matching gift program for their employees. View a list of companies who have matching gifts programs. If your employer is not on the list, they may still have a matching gifts program – just ask!
We often have special anonymous donors who will give a larger gift to stimulate many new gifts from other supporters. Ask us if such a program is currently in place.
You can be a matching gift partner! If the Lord has blessed you with considerable financial resources, you can make a gift that will inspire others to give what they are able.
